What
is the Victorian Treasures return policy?
|
|
|
We want
you to be happy with our products. The items we choose are proven
best sellers in our retail store. If an item does not meet your
satisfaction or is defective, you may return it within 30 days
of the shipment date of your order, call us at 845/986-7616 to
obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions. Victorian
Treasures does not accept returns without a valid RA number.
Each item returned must be in its original new, unused, undamaged
condition with its original packaging, packing slip, manufacturer
labels, information cards or booklets, certificates, and accessories.
Wrap all items securely, using great care and additional padding
for fragile items, and place them into one or more additional
cartons.
Write the RA number and reason for return, and specify “Refund”
or “Replacement” on the back of the original packing slip or on
a copy of it. If a packing slip is not available, please write
the original order number, RA number, and your name and address
information on a separate piece of paper. Enclose either of these
information sheets with the item to be returned.
Securely seal the outer carton and label it with your RA number
and the shipping address listed on the packing slip. For your
protection, please ship prepaid and insured for full value, by
either UPS or Federal Express. The address label should read as

about special orders?

Custom merchandise,
or merchandise we do not normally stock, require a special order
and are subject to a 50% deposit. This deposit will only be refunded
if the manufacturer can not supply the merchandise.
We are happy to order items that we do not stock, however, such
items are final sale and non-returnable.

I need to trim my candle wick?

wick will allow the candle to burn more evenly and cleanly.

do I measure for lace curtains?
|
|

Allow 1.5 to 2 times
the width of the window for fullness.

do I launder my lace curtains and tabletop lace?

Machine wash cold,
gentle or delicate cycle, tumble dry until damp, then hang to
dry. Do not bleach. No ironing is necessary.

What's
a festoon, a swag, a tier, a valance and a panel?

Valance
A straight, short curtain, traditionally used at the top of a
window.
Tier
Longer than a valance, shorter than a panel, usually used to cover
the bottom half of a window, but can be used as a valance.
Panel
A long curtain, traditionally used to cover the entire window.
Swag
A swag is traditionally shorter at the top of the window and
longer on the sides and frames a window.
Festoon
A valance that is longer in the middle and shorter on the sides,
generally used in conjunction with a pair of swags, or in multiple
festoons

Will
the lace curtains help to block out the sunlight and give us privacy?

We recomment at least
2 to 2.5 times window width for fullness to help block out sunlight
and to give privacy. If you are placing your lace curtains in
direct sunlight and want to protetct furniture and carpets, we
recommend a room darkening shade or a mini blind.

you offer custom sizes on your lace curtains?

long does it take to get my order once it is placed?
|

Orders are shipped
within 24-48 hours after they are received. If for some reason
the item(s) you have ordered are temporarily unavailable due to
its popularity, please allow an additional 7-10 days. All of our
customers are notified if there are any delays with their orders
